Our story

A little nose attached to the rear window of a car. “Where are we going?“. Curiosity,
enthusiasm and great desire to learn something new in the eyes of a 6-year-old girl are yet to be answered. Her mum is driving. One of those mums who can really drive well.

The girl is sitting and adorably singing some popular melodies to her doll. She
could only take one doll with her, and she chose this one because they tend to stay
overnight on their trips with her mum and this doll could sleep with her.

Trips with her mother are always cool. Carefully packed snack, some tea in a flask and M&Ms guarantee perfect care. However, this mum took her daughter on the trip that is more or less a business trip. She wanted to do the best for her and this is the reason why she decided to start a business…

It was in 1993 and the little girl is me, Patrícia. As the youngest out of 4 sisters I used to go on business trips with my mum. She probably had nowhere to leave me, but I felt it was a great adventure at that time and the opportunity to experience something new, to see the world.

Even today I am aware of this tremendous female power of my mum, who inspite of the fact that we did not have an easy life, managed to create a feeling of home almost everywhere.

Now I understand how important it was for me to learn everything from her. Now I understand that each kilometer, each city, each country filled me with knowledge that later turned into my personal drive and philosophy of the company True Slovakia. All these values and life milestones are deeply rooted in the company.
